Sherri Stevens is an award-winning entrepreneur and visionary who pioneered her own company, Stevens Resource Group (SRG), from a local employment office to a $32-million international workforce management company. In early 2016, Sherri acquired the Women's Executive Network (WXN), Canada's largest organization for women in management, executive, board and professional roles with 22,000 members in Canada, Ireland and the UK. At the same time, she also acquired the Canadian Board Diversity Council (CBDC), the leading Canadian organization advancing diversity on Canada's boards through research, formal board education and increased visibility of qualified, diverse candidates.
Sherri is an expert on business strategy, change management and workforce development. Sherri has received numerous awards including the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Momentum, WXN's Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 in the Entrepreneurs category in both 2007 and 2008, and Profit/Chatelain's W100 list for 10 years in a row.
As a lifelong advocate for diversity and a female CEO championing HR excellence in male-dominated industries, Sherri is no stranger to adversity. The successes she has seen have not come easily. With the objective of passing her knowledge and paving an easier path for those to come, Sheri has given her own time and served as a mentor for two years in the WXNWisdom Mentorship Program, led an outreach program for young girls aged 7-13 for ten years
